Meet Leigh Ann

Hello! My name is Leigh Ann Hixon, and I have had a passion for baking since I was a teenager. After 20 years in the dental field, I decided to follow my passion and dreams of becoming a baker and cake designer. My love of baking comes from my Southern roots, my paternal Grandmother. I now work full time creating sweet moments of life, in my home bakery, Snix Snax Shax.

Snix Snax Shax specializes in Custom Wedding & Special Occasion Cakes but we can bake it all! We have been in business, creating delicious treats, for over 7 years. You name it, we can bake it; Cakes, Cupcakes, Cookies, Pies, Pastries, Donuts, & Gourmet Desserts.

How Snix Snax Shax Started

Snix Snax Shax Bakery started out as a hobby. My husband is an avid hunter and I needed a hobby while he was hunting. I thought since I love baking and creating things why not start up a bakery. What is better on a cold fall day than fresh baked goods?! You ask how Snix Snax Shax got it’s name?? It is named after my dog snickers and she loves snacks and treats!!

Why We Do What We Do!

I love taking old southern family recipes and putting a modern twist on them. I love being a part of my client's special moments, whether it is a 1st birthday party, baby shower or wedding! I love to see the smile on my clients face when they receive their special cake or sweet creation and why my tag line is 'Creating Sweet Moments of Life!' This is what I love to do!
