Meet Leigh Ann

Hello!  My name is Leigh Ann Hixon, and I have had a passion for baking since I was a teenager. After 20 years in the dental field, I decided to follow my passion and dreams of becoming a baker and cake designer.  My love of baking comes from my Southern roots, my paternal Grandmother.  I now work full time creating sweet moments of life, in my home bakery, Snix Snax Shax.  

Snix Snax Shax specializes in Custom Wedding & Special Occasion Cakes but we can bake it all!  We have been in business, creating delicious treats, for over 8 years.  You name it, we can bake it; Cakes, Cupcakes, Cookies, Pies, Pastries, Donuts, & Gourmet Desserts.

Snix Snax Shax Bakery started out as a hobby. My husband is an avid hunter and I needed a hobby while he was hunting. I thought since I love baking and creating things why not start up a bakery. What is better on a cold fall day than fresh baked goods?! You ask how Snix Snax Shax got it’s name?? It is named after my dog snickers and she loves snacks and treats!!
